What the residency offers

• Silence

  I came here looking for silence. The residency is a journey into nature through silence and art: no noise, no rush, only your work.

• Laurel forest and ocean

  The house is surrounded by laurisilva, the ancient forest of the Canary Islands, with the Atlantic on the horizon and one of the clearest night skies in the world.

• Sacred territory

  La Palma is full of rock engravings carved by its ancient inhabitants. A magical land, open to experimentation. We will visit some of these places together.

• Four ways to create

  Painting in a bright living-room studio, digital art workstations, code art with Processing, and a recording studio for musicians who want to experiment with sound.

• An artist as your host

  Chr5 holds a degree in Fine Arts and works in digital art, generative art, design and music. Curator of international shows such as NFTCanarias, ARTCAN and Digital Art Zurich.

• Free minds welcome

  For artists with a free mind who see art and territory as a sacred space, from Germany, Switzerland, Japan, China or anywhere in the world.
